Derrik started his journey in land related business in 2007 as a seismic surveyor in the oil and gas industry working on various projects throughout the state of Texas.

The survey experience and networking led to being offered a position as a Surface Landman for XTO Energy in Midland TX where he worked with the most experienced landmen in the industry. Derrik facilitated land acquisition and infrastructure development transactions for major oil production projects throughout west Texas and southeastern New Mexico.

After a few years as a Surface Landman in oil and gas he wanted to diversify his skills by branching out into the renewable energy industry working to locate and acquire new opportunities for wind and solar developments throughout the United States.

In his most recent transition into commercial real estate Derrik has already shown the ability to use his skills finding new opportunities for potential developers and is excited for the opportunity to help connect property owners and developers in this fast paced ever growing market.

Born and raised in west Texas. Derrik has also lived in Los Angeles California and currently resides in Lago Vista Texas.
